1. About the Appliance¶
The appliance comprises five nodes in a 19-inch 3U rackmount server chassis. The appliance deploys into a universal and easy-to-use software-defined infrastructure solution that combines virtualization and storage. It allows you to create and manage virtual machines and offers object, block, and file storage, including a local repository for cloud backups.
The appliance comes in several models that vary by storage capacity:
