Re-adding unassigned nodes

Nodes removed from the infrastructure can be re-added as unassigned.

Prerequisites

• The node is completely removed from the infrastructure, as described in Removing unassigned nodes.

To re-add a node to the infrastructure

• If you did not clean up the node during its release, log in to the node via SSH and run the following script:

  # /usr/libexec/vstorage-ui-agent/bin/register-storage-node.sh -m MN_ADDRESS -t TOKEN

  where

  • MN_ADDRESS is the management node private IP address
  • TOKEN is the token obtained in the admin panel
• If you cleaned up the node during its release, reinstall Acronis Cyber Infrastructure on the node from scratch.
