Monitoring node network

To check the network interface status

Go to the Infrastructure > Nodes screen and click the node name. Open the Network tab to see a list of all network interfaces on the node with their statuses.

A network interface can have the following statuses:

OK: The network adapter is plugged in and up on the node.
Unplugged: The network adapter is disconnected.
Disabled: The network adapter is down on the node.

To monitor performance of a network interface

Go to the Infrastructure > Nodes screen and click the node name.
Open the Network tab, select a network interface in the list, and then click Performance.

When monitoring network performance, keep in mind that if the Receive and transmit errors chart is not empty, the network is experiencing issues and requires attention.

To display network interface details

Go to the Infrastructure > Nodes screen and click the node name.
Open the Network tab, select a network interface in the list, and then click Details. The Network details pane shows the interface state, bandwidth, MTU, MAC address, and all IP addresses.
