1. About this guide¶

This guide explains how to deploy Acronis Cyber Infrastructure and configure Backup Gateway on VMware vSphere.

Briefly, you will need to do the following:

1. Configure networks.
2. Create virtual machines for Acronis Cyber Infrastructure.
3. Deploy Acronis Cyber Infrastructure in the virtual machines.

All these steps are described in detail in the following chapters.

Having deployed Acronis Cyber Infrastructure, you will need to configure it for your scenario. Steps to set up a backup gateway are provided in Adding locations to Acronis Cyber Backup or Acronis Cyber Backup Cloud. Other instructions are available in the Administrator Guide.
