About This Guide

This guide explains how to set up Backup Gateway on Amazon to store backups in the Amazon cloud.

Briefly, you will need to do the following:

#. Deploy an instance with |product_name| from an Amazon Machine Image (AMI) on Amazon EC2.

#. Obtain the password and log in to the |product_name| admin panel.

#. Set up Backup Gateway to work with the Amazon cloud.

All these steps are described in the next chapters.
